Job Description
Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Boiler Operators at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan. This position is responsible for maintaining low pressure boilers.
Summary of Responsibilities:
+ Attends to boilers and auxiliary equipment to supply steam for plant and process use
+ Attends to equipment in the grinding, concentrating and dewatering areas of the plant and outside thickeners, pumphouses and disposal systems
+ Performs equipment checks and inspections
+ Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent required
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals
+ Excellent safety record and genuine concern for safety in the workplace
+ Excellent attendance record
+ Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
