Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A relevant Boilermaker / Welding trade certificate

  • Strong fabrication and repair experience on heavy earthmoving equipment

  • Proficiency in FCAW welding (all positions) and air arc gouging

  • Experience working on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment (highly regarded)

  • Solid understanding of workplace safety and risk management practices

  • Ability to read drawings, follow procedures and work to OEM standards

  • LF licence (required) and DG licence or greater

  • HR, EWP and Working at Heights tickets preferred but not essential

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

  • Willingness to mentor and support apprentices

  • Capacity to complete a weld test prior to commencement
