Marine Boilermaker – Shipbuilding | MIG & Flux Core | Fremantle | $50–$55/hr + Penalties
Experienced in shipyards or marine fabrication?

We’re seeking marine-experienced Boilermakers to join an established shipbuilding operation in Fremantle, working on high-quality vessel construction and structural marine projects.

This is a long-term opportunity with consistent hours, strong rates, and ongoing work for boilermakers who understand marine standards and shipyard environments.
What’s on offer

  • $50–$55 per hour + penalties (depending on experience)
  • 50+ hours per week available
  • Weekly pay – every Friday
  • Long-term shipbuilding projects with job security
  • Optional Saturday overtime
  • Work on large commercial vessels and marine structures

Your role in the shipyard

  • Heavy marine fabrication and structural welding
  • MIG & Flux Core welding to marine specifications
  • Structural fit-up and assembly of vessel components
  • Reading and working from shipbuilding drawings
  • Working with marine-grade steels and materials (aluminium and steel)
  • Maintaining high safety and quality standards in a shipyard environment

What we’re looking for

  • Trade-qualified Boilermaker
  • Proven shipbuilding or marine fabrication experience (Desired)
  • Strong MIG & Flux Core welding skills
  • Confident reading shipbuilding drawings and specs
  • Safety-focused, reliable, and team-oriented
  • Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
