Inspects production or first run parts, units assemblies made from a variety of materials, such as plastic, fiber glass, metal, wood, etc., or inspects types of materials where bonding agents or adhesives are used. Inspects bonded parts or parts to be bonded prior to, during and after bonding process. May inspect by disassembling at bond line to determine quality of bond and perform a variety of inspection tests to insure adherence to proper specifications. Working from blueprints, specifications or verbal instructions, inspects visually or by use of a wide variety of precision measuring instruments, equipment, gauges, jigs, fixtures, templates, etc., to determine acceptability.
