Book Designer

We are hiring a talented Book Designer for our client, an EduTech company based in Surat, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in editorial and print media design with proficiency in Adobe InDesign (knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus). The role involves creating visually compelling books, collaborating with authors and editors, and maintaining high design standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design visually compelling books that appeal to the target audience and reflect content essence.
• Collaborate with authors, editors, and teams to maintain a unified vision for projects.
• Develop editorial layout designs that enhance readability, aesthetics, and understanding.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for innovative design concepts.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop are a plus)
• Strong editorial, visual, and information design skills
• Good visual aesthetic sense and research skills
• Foundation in typography, color theory, and visual identity

Mandatory Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, working on editorial projects, print media projects, or as a Print Production Artist.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is mandatory.
• Bachelor of Design degree in Graphic Design, Print Design, Communication Design, or related branches.
• Strong skills in editorial, visual, and information design.
• Ability to visually translate complex topics through design research and layouts.
• Candidate should be from Edtech industry.
• Age should be within 30 years.
