We’re looking for a full-time, remote bookkeeper who is confident with Xero , understands UK bookkeeping and accounting standards , and thrives on keeping financial records accurate, organised, and audit-ready.

If you're someone who takes pride in being organised, dependable, and detail-focused — and can manage bookkeeping across multiple income sources (e.g. Stripe, bank accounts, invoices, petty cash) — this is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Daily bookkeeping using Xero, including:
• Recording and categorising expenses, petty cash, and receipts
• Raising and generating invoices and ensuring correct reconciliation
• Linking and reconciling bank feeds, Stripe, PayPal and other platforms
• Attaching invoices and documents to Xero entries with accurate references
• Ensuring all referencing is clear and traceable — from software to bank and vice versa
• Managing the invoice process from creation to tracking and payment
• Regularly reconciling transactions to keep books up to date
• Ensuring compliance with UK financial regulations and HMRC guidelines
• Keeping digital finance files tidy and accessible
• Supporting accountant as needed for VAT, year-end, and reporting

✅ You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:

• Have 2–3+ years of experience in bookkeeping (UK-based work preferred)
• Are fully proficient in Xero (including reconciliation, bank feed setup, invoice attachment, etc.)
• Are AAT qualified or have completed a recognised UK bookkeeping course
• Have strong knowledge of UK tax rules, expense categories, and accounting standards
• Are highly organised , accurate, and able to triple-check your work
• Can allocate Stripe payments accurately — even when received in batches
• Work well independently, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally
• Take pride in being someone your team can rely on with full financial trust
