Construction Bookkeeper


Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Bookkeeper to manage all financial transactions and records for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction accounting, job cost tracking, and project-based financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including vendor invoices, payments, receipts, and payroll

  • Track project expenses, budgets, and job cost codes to ensure accurate financial reporting

  • Prepare progress billings, lien waivers, and subcontractor payments

  • Maintain general ledger and reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts

  • Process payroll, including certified payroll when required

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closings, audits, and tax preparation
