Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to manage the financial records for our UK-based operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with extensive knowledge of UK accounting principles, tax regulations, and proficiency in modern accounting software. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial books, preparing VAT returns, and generating financial reports to support our business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's financial records, including purchase and sales ledgers, general ledger, and journals.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts.
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns in compliance with HMRC's Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements.
