Bowling Center Manager

Summary This position is located in the Bowling Section of the Business Activities Branch, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella, Italy. The purpose of this position is to plan and carry out a comprehensive bowling program to meet the needs of eligible patrons. Responsibilities Personnel Management Supervises approximately six employees (Local Nationals and US) performing duties in beverage service, bowling equipment repair, retail sales, lane and shoe rental, customer service and cash handling. Performs supervisory duties which includes assigning work, defining priorities, selecting and recommending applicants for hire, instructing employees on both technical and administrative matters, evaluating performance, recommending pay adjustments and awards, providing or recommending training, approving and/or disapproving leave requests, initiating corrective actions, and recommending formal corrective/disciplinary actions as warranted.
