Pertemps are actively seeking a time-served Brake Press Setter Operator for a leading manufacturer in the North Birmingham/ South Tamworth area.

Heavily involved in the rail and automotive industries, this is an excellent opportunity to refine your skill-sets using hydraulic brake press machinery.

Core skills required for our Setter vacancy include:

- Ability to interpret and reproduce based on technical drawings / schematics
- Proven experience with setting Brake Presses (company use Amada, but knowledge of Trumpf or Edward Pearson will be considered)
- Able to use verniers, calipers and other measuring gauges to quality assure your own work
- Physically fit and able to load own machinery with medium-gauge steel panels
