Job Description: Branch Manager - Truck Body Building (Kochi-Aroor)
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead the operations of our truck body building establishment in Kochi. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in the automotive or fabrication industry, combined with exceptional leadership and business management skills. He will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch's operations, from production and quality control to client management and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Oversee all daily activities of the branch, including production, quality control, procurement of materials, and inventory management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
·
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of skilled fabricators, painters, and support staff. This includes hiring, training, performance reviews, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.
·
Client & Sales Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, including truck fleet managers and individual vehicle owners. Develop and maintain strong relationships, provide accurate job quotes, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
·
Financial Oversight: Manage the branch's budget, track expenses, and monitor financial performance to ensure profitability and meet revenue targets.
·
Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot issues related to fabrication, welding, painting, and finishing to maintain our high standards of quality.
·
Compliance: Ensure all branch operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and government labour laws.
Required Qualifications:

Education: A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
·
Experience:
o
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the automotive, fabrication, or heavy machinery industry.
o
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role.
o
Experience with truck body building or a similar fabrication process is a significant advantage.
·
Skills:
o
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
o
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
o
Proficiency in financial management and budget oversight.
o
In-depth knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials, and quality control processes.
