The Role

As a Brand Manager at Influence, you will lead brand thinking for multiple client accounts. This is not a design or social media-only role. You will be responsible for shaping how brands are positioned, perceived, and experienced across touchpoints.

You’ll work closely with the founder, PR teams, digital teams, and clients to translate business goals into clear brand strategy and execution.


What You’ll Do

  • Own brand strategy for assigned client accounts across D2C, founders, startups, and established brands
  • Develop brand positioning, messaging frameworks, tone of voice, and narrative direction
  • Decode consumer insights, category trends, and cultural signals to inform brand decisions
  • Collaborate with PR and content teams to ensure brand consistency across media, social, campaigns, and partnerships
  • Guide social and content strategy from a brand lens, not just a posting calendar
  • Evaluate brand performance and perception using qualitative insights, audience feedback, and market signals
  • Participate in new business pitches, strategy decks, and client presentations
  • Act as a strategic partner to clients, not an execution-only manager


What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience in brand management, brand strategy, marketing, or consulting
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, storytelling, and consumer psychology
  • Experience working with multiple brands or clients is a strong plus
  • Ability to think long-term while still guiding day-to-day brand decisions
  • Clear communication and presentation skills
  • Someone who is curious, opinionated, and comfortable taking ownership
  • Prior experience in agencies, consulting firms, startups, or D2C brands preferred


What This Role Is Not

  • Not a pure social media manager role
  • Not limited to execution or coordination
  • Not a “brief-following” job
