Parsons has contributed to numerous major infrastructure and bridge projects in Canada since the 1940’s, and has designed many well-known structures in the National Capital Region such as the Vimy Memorial Bridge in Barrhaven, the Corktown Footbridge over the Rideau Canal, the twin Bytown Bridges on Sussex Drive, the Strandherd Drive Widening VIA Rail bridge, the Juno Beach Memorial Pedestrian Bridge over the Airport Parkway, and the Alta Vista Hospital Link rail and road bridges.
