WKBT News 8 Now in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team in a combined role that encompasses responsibilities of Broadcast Engineer and support for Master Control. This multifaceted role offers the chance to learn, grow, and engage in a dynamic broadcast environment.
What You Will Do
Support and maintain automation systems, transmitters, and perform general building maintenance.
Troubleshoot equipment and software functions as needed.
Monitor on-air signals and maintain transmitter and FCC logs accurately.
Ingest daily programming and commercials.
Occasionally handle emergency and on-call duties as required.
What You Will Bring
Experience with broadcast engineering, MCO, or live video production is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
