Qualifications
-Graduate of any four-year business-related course
-At least 3–5 years of experience in broker sales or non-life insurance
-Strong knowledge of non-life insurance products
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-Highly organized with strong attention to detail
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
-Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
-Good written and verbal communication skills
-Able to work independently and work well within a team
Job Summary
The Broker’s Sales Officer is responsible for building and managing relationships with insurance brokers to generate new business, retain existing accounts, and support the end-to-end brokering process, including policy servicing and claims coordination.
Responsibilities
-Identify and develop new business opportunities through broker partnerships
-Promote and customize insurance products including automobile, fire, property, marine, casualty, and personal accident insurance
-Achieve sales targets by expanding the broker network and maintaining existing accounts
-Conduct regular broker visits for product presentations and needs assessment
-Build and maintain strong professional relationships with brokers and key clients
-Serve as the main liaison between brokers and internal departments
-Coordinate with underwriters, DCU, PAU, CCU (Finance), PSC, and other teams to support policy issuance
-Support marketing initiatives to strengthen broker engagement and market presence
-Monitor policy renewals and assist brokers with required documentation
-Provide after-sales support including premium collection, official receipt issuance, and account reconciliation
-Coordinate with the Operations team to track and follow up on claims
-Maintain accurate records of broker accounts, policies, and issued bonds
-Prepare and maintain broker performance reports as required
