Job Description

The ideal candidate for the position will have the following qualifications:


  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 2+ years of experience as a project engineer handling ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) and Building Automation System projects using Tridium Niagara Controllers / Software.


As the responsible project engineer, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:


  • Review and redesign the system architecture, including the shop floor design of the project, and prepare it for submission to the client/consultant for approval.
  • Perform project pre-commissioning (engineering and Factory Acceptance Testing - FAT) and commissioning (Site Acceptance Testing - SAT) activities.
  • Prepare as-built details and submit them for client's approval.
  • Ensure the project's proposed system delivery aligns with the agreed scope and company policies.
  • Provide timely technical solutions to problems and assist with operations and maintenance support.
  • Attend customer meetings, respond to client communications, and work closely with the team to implement project execution procedures.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with client management to focus on improvements and analyze project delivery.
  • Assist with on-site management to ensure project success.
  • Ensure the project plan is progressing to meet anticipated deadlines.


Skills required:

  • Knowledge of the instrumentation and control systems. Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, building automation systems and other building subsystems.
  • Understanding of Modbus, BacNet, LON. DALI and other similar protocols. Understanding of advanced computer skills required, particularly AutoCAD, Visio etc.
  • The candidate should be willing to travel
  • Working experience with Tridium Controllers / Niagara Softwares
