Job Description
The Building Engineer plays a key role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and comfort of our facilities. This position focuses on routine maintenance, basic repairs, and ensuring systems—including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components—operate efficiently. The role primarily supports two Silver Spring properties, with one to two monthly visits to the West Grove location.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and grounds
Complete work orders involving light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and carpentry tasks
Support Property Manager in maintaining and following preventive maintenance schedules
Respond promptly and professionally to emergency maintenance situations
