Role Description

We are seeking a full-time BIM Design Engineer (MEP) to join our team on-site in Mumbai. The role involves creating detailed Building Information Models (BIM) and designs for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.

Job Description

• Preparation of project-related BIM models and coordinated drawings using Revit as per project specifications and applicable standards
• Development of MEP BIM models (Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and coordination with other services)
• Preparation of shop drawings, layout drawings, sections, elevations, and details extracted from BIM models
• Creation and management of BIM families, schedules, and quantity take-offs
• Clash detection, coordination, and resolution using Navisworks or similar BIM tools
• Coordination with design consultants, project engineers, and site teams
• Updating BIM models based on site conditions, design changes, and consultant comments
• Site visits for coordination, verification of installations, and preparation of as-built BIM models

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Design Engineering, including experience in conceptualizing and executing solutions for MEP systems.
• Should be well versed with Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD
• Sound knowledge of MEP systems (Plumbing / Fire Fighting)
• Experience in BIM modelling and coordination (3–5 years)
• Understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and drawing deliverables
