About the Role

We currently have multiple positions available for casual bus drivers at our Windsor depot. We are looking for passionate people who enjoy driving and want to serve their community while delivering the best experience possible to our customers.

Industry Leading Rates

• $43.59 per hour weekday (shift loadings 15%–100% depending on times of operation)
• $60.36 Saturday, $80.48 Sunday, $100.60 public holiday
• $19.95 attendance allowance paid daily

Hours of Work

Our drivers must be willing and flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, early morning, and late‑night shifts. A large portion of shifts for full‑time drivers are split shifts, providing two work periods to cover peak service times. Straight shifts also exist, starting at varied times of the day. All depots operate seven days per week, with Sunday and public holiday shifts being voluntary overtime.

Eligibility to Apply

• A current and valid Medium Rigid or above driver’s licence
• A good driving history
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willing to undergo a pre‑employment medical check, criminal history check, and working with children check
• Current NSW Driver Authority highly desired (or willing to obtain one)

Induction & Training for New Applicants

• Paid induction and mentor training
• Opportunity to attend a Driver Authority Course with Busways and assistance with the application process
