Business Analyst – Capital Markets (Trade Regulatory Reporting)

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Capital Markets expertise, specializing in trade regulatory reporting or front-office trading platforms. The role involves working closely with trading technology teams and regulatory stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for trade reporting initiatives.
• Collaborate with trading, risk, compliance, and technology teams for accurate regulatory reporting.
• Understand trade lifecycle across asset classes and translate into functional specifications.
• Support development teams with requirement clarification, data mapping, and UAT.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory regimes and improve reporting workflows.

Must-Have Domain Skills

• Capital Markets Product Knowledge (mandatory if no regulatory experience): FX, Rates/Interest Rate Derivatives, Equities, Credit products (focus on FX & Rates).
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, product attributes, and trade booking in trading platforms.

Preferred Background

• Exposure to trade booking/modification systems.
• Investment banking or capital markets experience.

Core BA Skills

• Requirement elicitation & documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories).
• Stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of SDLC & Agile.
• Ability to work under pressure in time-sensitive environments.

Additional Notes

• Front-office experience is highly valued.
• Experience in one asset class is acceptable.
• Strong grasp of trade data and lifecycle is essential.
