This role is strictly involved in the development of the product and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application development and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.

Your role in our mission

  • Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients objectives in important areas.

  • Prioritize and execute with specialized team of business analysts driving advanced quality initiatives, lead IT projects moving data quality upstream, and nurture newer team members by providing guidance .

  • Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients and technical team to define, document and share business requirements and expected impact 

  • Work with the internal and external stakeholders to define key specifications and business outcomes at the start of a technical project

  • Analyse, plan, design, document or make recommendations to improve business/Quality processes to support clients technology goals

  • Help verify that all requirements have been met by approving and validating test results

  • Research business objectives and data requirements of client to ensure that developed product meet client needs.

  • Communicates with clients about data-related discrepancies and other matters of significance to ascertain information and correct errors

    • What we're looking for

  • 9 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position with 4 or more years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred

  • Strong US healthcare domain knowledge is required.

  • Working experience in Managed care systems.

  • Good knowledge on Agile concepts and SQL .

  • Knowledge of computer programming concepts such as configuration, development and batch processing

  • Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills to deliver messages to business leaders, clients and technical personnel

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
