Role Description:

  • Associate will be part of Digital Transformation projects with Global Banks supported by Deloitte
  • Should be able to exhibit digital transformation experience of delivering Banking products
  • Is expected to work with end client business stakeholders, transformation colleagues and technology teams while delivering requirements on the assigned programs
  • Should have excellent communication, articulation, and stakeholder management skills 
  • Should be able to articulate change management experience
  • Should have experience and be comfortable working in Agile environment
  • Demonstrate experience in coordinating business stakeholders, development and testing teams during the development lifecycle
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment; possess excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Desirable to have experience with backlog management tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Desirable to have designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications using TDD and BDD practices

§ Domain Experience:

Payments & Cards:

-       Overall, needs to exhibit excellent knowledge of end-to-end lifecycle of payments – initiation, processing, clearing and settlement

-       Excellent knowledge on Credit/Debit cards.

-       Knowledge of International and Domestic Payments / Schemes

-       Knowledge of Cross border payment schemes like SEPA / Target 2 / CHAPS / SWIFT messages (MT, pain., pacs. series) is an added advantage

-       ISO20022 migration experience is an added advantage

-       Working knowledge of various SWIFT messages associated to the settlements / corporate actions flows used by banks in various markets.

-       In-depth understanding of Clearing, Settlements & Corporate Actions processing and associated systems and flow

§ For ISO20022 PM

-        Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale ISO 20022 transformation program across complex financial systems.

-        Drive planning, execution, and implementation of ISO 20022 standards in alignment with regulatory timelines and business objectives.

-       Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, technology, operations, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration.

-       Provide strategic direction, governance, and oversight to ensure on-time and quality delivery of program milestones.

-       Leverage prior experience in delivering complex payment modernization initiatives and managing large-scale transformation programs.

§ For Payments BA

-       Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to cross-border payment processing and regulatory compliance.

-       Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and payment networks (e.g., SWIFT, ISO 20022) to define and validate solutions.

-       Translate complex payment flows and settlement processes into clear functional specifications and user stories.

-       Support end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements traceability, testing support, and defect resolution.

-       Bring strong domain knowledge of cross-border payments, FX, compliance (e.g., AML, sanctions screening), and industry standards (e.g., SWIFT gpi, ISO 20022).
