Job Title: Business Analyst – Executive Compensation
Location: NYC
Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team and support a crucial project focused on executive compensation. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and ensure that our new executive compensation system aligns with organizational goals. Workday ERP experience is required, with Workday implementation experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements Gathering: Work closely with key stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and Compensation teams, to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring alignment with the new system’s capabilities.
  • Functional Specifications Development: Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications that guide the development and configuration of the executive compensation system.
  • Compensation Reporting: Assist in the development and testing of executive compensation reports, ensuring they comply with regulatory standards and meet internal requirements.
  • Process Mapping: Create detailed process flow diagrams to document current and future states of the compensation program, facilitating a clear understanding of system functionality and data flow.
  • System Integration Support: Collaborate with IT and HRIS teams to ensure that business rules and workflows are accurately reflected in the new system’s design, supporting seamless integration.
  • Qualifications:

  • Experience: Business analysis experience in the financial services or HR sector, with a focus on executive compensation preferred.
  • Business Requirements Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in gathering and documenting detailed business requirements from diverse stakeholders.
  • Functional Specification Skills: Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable specifications for system development.
  • Compensation Reporting Knowledge: Familiarity with executive compensation reporting requirements, both regulatory and internal.
  • Process Mapping Expertise: Experience in creating process flow diagrams and mapping business processes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Workday ERP experience is required; Workday implementation experience is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
