Job Title: Business Analyst – Global Trade Finance

Experience: 8–12 Years

Location: Bangalore / Pune

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Trade Finance to support global banking initiatives. The role involves working closely with business, technology, and operations teams to deliver trade finance solutions, data-driven insights, and system enhancements.

Key Skills

Domain Expertise

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Trade Finance products including Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees, and Collections.
• Experience in Supply Chain Finance, Open Account Trade, Receivable and Invoice Financing.
• Understanding of trade governing rules and banking regulations.
• Experience working with trade finance data, data governance, and data quality initiatives.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with Core Banking and Trade Finance systems (e.g., TI+).
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and analysis.
• Experience working with data platforms such as Data Refinery.
• Exposure to ALM, JIRA, and UAT management.

Methodologies

• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery models.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for Trade Finance products.
• Analyze existing trade workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.
• Support configuration and implementation of trade finance systems.
• Manage and support UAT cycles and assist with production issues.
• Act as a liaison between Business, IT, Operations, Compliance, and external vendors.
• Prepare and maintain high-quality documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and user stories in line with SDLC and Agile practices.
