<div>Business Analyst - Job Description</div> <div>Role Overview<br /> The Business Analyst (BA) plays a key role in bridging business needs with technical<br /> solutions. The BA partners with stakeholders to understand business processes, gather<br /> requirements, analyze data, and drive improvements through technology, process<br /> optimization, and strategic insights.</div> <div>Key Responsibilities<br /> 1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis<br /> - Engage with business stakeholders to understand needs, challenges, and objectives.<br /> - Translate business needs into clear, concise functional and non-functional requirements.<br /> - Create requirement documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and<br /> process flows.</div> <div>2. Process Mapping & Optimization<br /> - Analyze current business processes and identify gaps or inefficiencies.<br /> - Develop future state process models and recommend improvements.<br /> - Facilitate workshops to align teams on process improvements and solution design.</div> <div>3. Data Analysis & Reporting<br /> - Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.<br /> - Create dashboards, reports, and insights to support decision making.<br /> - Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy for business use.</div> <div>4. Solution Delivery Support<br /> - Act as a liaison between business teams and technology teams.</div> <div>- Support solution design, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and acceptance testing.<br /> - Conduct UAT planning, test case creation, and UAT execution management.</div> <div>5. Stakeholder Management & Communication<br /> - Communicate status, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders and leadership.<br /> - Conduct workshops, demos, and training sessions for end users.<br /> - Ensure alignment between cross functional teams during all project phases.</div> <div>6. Documentation & Governance<br /> - Maintain project documentation including requirements, process maps, and change logs.<br /> - Support change management efforts including communication and training materials.</div> <div>Skills & Qualifications<br /> Must Have Skills<br /> - Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities<br /> - Requirement gathering and documentation expertise<br /> - Ability to create process flows (Visio, Miro, Lucidchart)<br /> - Knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL)<br /> - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills<br /> - Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies</div> <div>Nice to Have Skills<br /> - Experience with CRM/ERP platforms (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle)<br /> - Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, or technical architecture<br /> - Professional certification (CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, Scrum Master)</div> <div>Education & Experience<br /> - Bachelor s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field<br /> - 2 6 years of experience (modifiable based on seniority)<br /> - Experience in cross functional or digital transformation projects preferred</div>
