Role Overview
The Business Analyst (BA) will support product management and delivery of a Property & Casualty Policy Administration System (PAS). The role focuses on detailed business analysis, requirement elaboration, configuration support, and testing, ensuring that insurance products and processes are correctly implemented in the PAS. The BA works closely with Product Owner, Development and QA teams, acting as a functional translator between insurance business needs and PAS capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Requirements & Analysis
- Elicit and document detailed requirements for:
- Product setup (LOB, coverages, deductibles, limits)
- Policy lifecycle processes (quote, issue, endorse, renew, cancel)
- Claims
- Create and maintain:
- Feature Traceability Matrix
- Functional Specification Document
- Functional Test Cases
2. PAS Functional Support
- Support configuration of insurance products in PAS, including:
