About the Role

At KONE, we are dedicated to improving the flow of urban life. We are now looking for a Business Controller (Assistant Manager) to join our Finance team and support key business leaders and the Finance Director in driving and monitoring business performance. This role is pivotal in providing financial insights, ensuring compliance with the KONE Financial Control Model (FCM), and enabling value-driven decision-making through logical KPIs and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Controller (Assistant Manager), you will:

  • Partner with business leaders as a trusted finance advisor, promoting financial understanding across the organization.

  • Manage and analyze financial performance, ensuring accuracy in reporting (OR, RE50, R80, KPIs such as P2P, hours/floor).

  • Provide executive summaries highlighting opportunities, risks, and deviations from planned performance.

  • Facilitate planning and forecasting processes, validating figures and ensuring timely consolidation and reporting.

  • Contribute to scenario analyses, opportunity funnel reviews, and broader business line analysis.

  • Actively participate in the Business Controlling Community, sharing best practices and driving efficiency

    • What We’re Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

  • Fluency in English is essential, both written and verbal

  • Audit background in Big 4 companies is required

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in business controlling

  • Working experience in multinational environments is a plus

  • Strong financial reporting and compliance expertise

  • Proficiency in SAP and CPM Beacon (SAP BPC) or similar tools

  • Solid understanding of IFRS, local GAAP, and tax legislation

  • Strong grasp of financial statements and how transactions impact P&L and balance sheet

  • Skilled at working with auditors, tax consultants, and finance operations teams
