Role Description

We are seeking a Business Controller for a contract role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement. The Business Controller will oversee financial planning, business control, and analytical tasks to ensure the company's process flow controlled, financial health and strategic growth. Daily activities include reviewing financial operations, developing business plans, conducting financial analyses, and collaborating with various departments to drive performance and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Business Controlling and Business Planning practices
• Excellent analytical skills , with the ability to identify data into actionable insights
• Solid knowledge of Financial Planning, Forecasting, and core Finance processes
• Proven experience in banking relationships, treasury operations, and financial risk management , including hedging instruments (FX, interest rate, and/or commodity hedging)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , enabling effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics , or a related field
• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within a global, multinational, or trading organization , is highly desirable
• Expat or international professional background is strongly preferred , ideally with experience in European-headquartered or global organizations and working in multicultural, matrix environments
