Business Developer Batteries

Axpo Servizi di Produzione Italia (ASPI) is the operational company of Axpo Italia, established in 2015 with the goal of providing a comprehensive service for the management, coordination, and maintenance of energy production plants.

We are looking for a Business Developer Batteries interested to join our team located in Genoa.

Main responsibilities:

• Take responsibility of the developing cycle of battery storage projects, from identifying sites to securing all permits and the corresponding stakeholder management
• Liaise with grid operators, landowners, planning authorities, stakeholder groups and the wider public as part of the project development process
• Manage the cooperation with external development companies
• Initiate and follow-up on purchasing individual projects and project pipelines. This includes ownership of the whole process incl. the due diligence
• Interface between external stakeholders, Axpo Italia, ASPI, other Axpo companies and Axpo groups support functions
• Ownership and preparation of all relevant documents within Axpo group and external stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and market reforms concerning battery storage in Italy

• University degree in engineering, natural science, business administration or in a comparable discipline
• 3+ years of experience in developing of BESS or other renewables projects (PV, wind, etc.) in Italy
• Entrepreneurial skills combined with a structured approach
• High analytical and excellent communication skills are essential in Italian as well as in English (both written and spoken)
