Role Summary: The Business Development and Sales Development Support Executive will assist the BD team in identifying new business opportunities, supporting pre-sales activities, documentation, CRM updates, and managing follow-ups. The role involves extensive coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of sales development activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Support BD Managers with lead generation research, database creation, and account mapping.

• Coordinate and prepare responses to RFPs, RFIs, EOIs in collaboration with proposal and technical teams.

• Update and maintain Zoho CRM with lead, opportunity, and account details.

• Draft and maintain documentation including meeting notes, follow-up trackers, and business intelligence reports.

• Engage with internal departments (engineering, legal, finance, logistics) to collect and compile required documentation.

• Track progress leads through the sales funnel and assist with follow-ups.

• Assist with coordination of delegations, exhibitions, and customer visits, ensuring appropriate documentation is prepared.

• Prepare MIS reports and assist in data analysis of success/failure of leads and opportunities.

• Support in competitor and market intelligence research tasks.

• Undertake additional administrative and coordination tasks as directed by the Reporting Manager.

Requirements

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Zoho).

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Basic understanding of the defense industry and export documentation is an added advantage.
