Business Development Associate | Funds Management
A leading fund manager is seeking a driven Business Development Associate to join its wholesale distribution team. This is a rare entry point into funds management distribution, offering hands-on experience and a clear pathway into a Business Development Manager role.
The Role
As part of the distribution team, you’ll play a critical role in driving growth by:
- Making outbound calls to financial advisers, private wealth firms, and dealer groups to book meetings for the distribution team
- Supporting distribution activity across events, roadshows, and adviser engagement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and assisting with pipeline reporting
- Building your knowledge of investment products and the wholesale advice landscape
About You
We’re looking for someone commercially minded, resilient, and eager to build a career in funds management. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience in a client-facing or phone-based role within wealth management, platforms, or financial services
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Energy, persistence, and a genuine interest in investments
- Ambition to progress into a BDM role
