Location: Surat (HQ) | Extensive pan-India travel
JobType: full-timeThe Business Development Associate – Retail Expansion will play a key role in scaling the retail footprint by supporting location scouting, store launches, and franchise expansion initiatives. This position offers hands-on exposure to retail real estate, market analysis, and end-to-end store rollout activities while working closely with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Location Scouting & Market Analysis
- Identify and assess potential mall and high-street retail locations.
- Conduct footfall studies, catchment analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
- Coordinate with mall developers, property brokers, and landlords for site evaluations.
Store Launch Support
- Assist with end-to-end coordination of new store openings.
- Work with vendors, designers, and internal stakeholders to ensure launch readiness.
- Track timelines, budgets, and execution milestones for store launches.
Franchise & Expansion Support
- Support identification and evaluation of potential franchise partners.
- Assist with franchise onboarding, documentation, and compliance processes.
- Maintain expansion trackers, pipelines, and periodic reporting.
Success Metrics
- Identify 15–20 qualified retail locations within the first 3 months.
- Support 4–5 store launches within 6 months.
- Contribute to 8–10 store openings within 12 months.
Who Should Apply
- 2–4 years of experience in retail expansion, retail real estate, or retail operations.
- Prior exposure to jewelry, fashion, lifestyle, or premium retail is preferred.
- Comfortable with 50–60% travel and on-ground execution.
- Strong coordination, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
