Role Purpose

The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for driving sales growth, managing franchise operations, ensuring timely fund collection, handling contractors and applicators, supporting franchise sales teams, coordinating technical clearances through a centralized system, identifying new markets, and developing new franchise opportunities within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

Franchise Handling & Performance Monitoring

●Handle assigned franchises and monitor overall performance

●Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, schemes, and branding standards

●Drive franchise-wise sales growth and business expansion

●Act as the primary point of contact for franchise operational support Sales & Business Development

●Achieve assigned sales targets (primary & secondary)

●Generate business through site visits, customer meetings, and enquiry conversion

●Support quotations, negotiations, and project closures

●Provide on-ground support for key projects and strategic customers Fund Collection & Credit Control

●Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments

●Monitor credit limits, ageing, and overdue balances

●Coordinate with accounts and regional teams to improve cash flow Contractor & Applicator Handling

●Identify, onboard, and manage contractors and applicators

●Maintain strong relationships to improve application quality and sales

●Ensure applicators follow company-approved application practices Applicator Meets, Training & Sales Support

●Plan and conduct regular applicator meets in the assigned territory

●Coordinate and support applicator training programs (product, process, and application methods)

●Provide on-site applicator sales support to close enquiries and projects

●Improve applicator productivity and loyalty through continuous engagement Franchise Sales Executive Support & Training

●Support franchise sales executives in daily sales activities and execution

●Conduct product, process, and sales training for franchise sales teams

●Participate in joint customer visits, site meetings, and order closures

●Set monthly targets for each franchise sales executive and ensure target achievement through reviews and follow-ups

●Identify performance gaps and provide corrective guidance New Market Identification & Market Study

●Identify new and untapped markets as per company expansion policy

●Conduct market studies covering demand potential, competitor analysis, pricing, and applicator availability

●Submit feasibility and recommendation reports for market expansion

●Support management decisions on franchise and market development New Franchise Development

●Identify potential franchise opportunities within the assigned territory

●Conduct preliminary discussions and coordinate onboarding activities

●Support new franchise launches and initial business stabilization Cross-Functional Technical Coordination

●Engage with cross-functional teams (Technical, QA, Projects, Accounts, Operations) through the centralized system

●Coordinate technical evaluations, specifications, and approvals for franchise projects

●Clarify and resolve franchise technical queries related to product selection and application methodology

●Ensure timely technical clearances to avoid project delays

●Maintain proper documentation and follow-up within the centralized system Market Intelligence & Reporting

●Conduct regular market visits and gather competitor insights

●Track competitor pricing, schemes, product launches, and market trends

●Submit periodic reports on sales, collections, applicator activity, and market feedback



Requirements

1–5 years of experience in sales or business development(Construction chemicals / waterproofing / building materials preferred)

●Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills

●Ability to work independently and achieve targets

●Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory

Two-wheeler mandatory with valid driving license
