We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team at SymphonyAI Retail. This role combines deep retail industry knowledge with AI solution expertise to drive business growth in German-speaking markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and demonstrating how our AI-powered solutions transform retail operations.


Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Lead business development initiatives across German-speaking territories (DACH region)
  • Build and maintain relationships with key retail industry decision-makers
  • Create and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth
  • Present SymphonyAI's retail solutions to prospective clients in their native language
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure solutions meet local market needs
  • Develop compelling business cases and ROI analyses
  • Navigate complex sales cycles from initial contact through to close
  • Work closely with implementation teams to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Represent SymphonyAI at industry events and trade shows
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management

    • What You Need:

  • Native German language skills with professional English proficiency, additional languages are advantageous
  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience in retail technology
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing territory revenue
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and supply chain
  • Experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain C-level relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
