Job Summary:



We are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Executive with 2+ years of hands-on experience in solar products. The ideal candidate will excel in managing Solar EPC clients, driving Solar-based SaaS sales, and nurturing long-term customer relationships to achieve revenue targets in the renewable energy market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new Solar EPC clients through targeted outreach, networking, and market research primarily in Western India but can expand across all of India.
  • Drive sales of our Solar-based SaaS platforms, including demos, negotiations, and closing deals to meet quarterly revenue goals.
  • Manage end-to-end customer relationships, from onboarding to retention, ensuring high satisfaction and upsell opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis on solar trends, competitor activities, and EPC project pipelines to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, and marketing) to deliver customized solar product solutions.
  • Track sales performance using CRM tools and prepare regular reports on pipeline, conversions, and client feedback.
  • Represent the company at industry events, solar expos, and client meetings to build brand visibility.
  • Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Any bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in business development or sales specifically with solar products.
  • Demonstrated success in managing Solar EPC clients and selling Solar-based SaaS solutions.
  • Strong customer management skills with a track record of building and retaining B2B relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; proficiency in English and Marathi preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel across India as needed.

  • Knowledge of solar EPC processes, renewable energy regulations, and market dynamics in India.
  • Experience in the Pune solar market or Maharashtra renewable sector.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
