Upsight is an ecosystem builder and insights platform that helps companies unlock market opportunities and forge meaningful partnerships. One of our flagship initiatives is ChargedUp— a fast-growing ecosystem focused on the future of electric mobility in Southeast Asia. Upsight is looking for an energetic and proactive Business Development Executive to support partnerships, sponsorships, and revenue growth across Upsight and ChargedUp. This is a junior-to-mid-level role ideal for someone who enjoys outreach, relationship-building, and commercial strategy, and wants hands‑on exposure to how ecosystems, platforms, and industry partnerships are built.
Main Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Pipeline Development- Identify, research, and qualify leads across corporates, government agencies, investors, and ecosystem partners
- Build and maintain prospect lists for Upsight and ChargedUp initiatives
- Conduct outreach, follow‑ups, and pipeline nurturing to drive deal flow
- Support sponsorship, partnership, and commercial sales for ChargedUp and Upsight events, programmes, and platforms
- Manage and grow relationships with partners, including renewals, upsell, and cross‑sell opportunities
- Support commercial discussions for consulting, ecosystem programmes, and new platform offerings
- Prepare and tailor proposals, pitch decks, and outreach materials
- Work with leadership to refine positioning, pricing, and pitch strategies
- Track opportunities, key accounts, and deal stages in the CRM
- Engage corporate, government, and ecosystem partners across ChargedUp and Upsight’s growing portfolio of industry platforms
- Represent Upsight and ChargedUp in meetings, calls, and industry events
- Work closely with marketing and programme teams to ensure strong partner experiences
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipelines, and follow‑ups
- Support reporting on BD performance, pipeline health, and partner activity
Who Should Apply?
- Bachelors Degree, Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent qualification
- 1‑2 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, consulting or related roles; outstanding fresh graduates with relevant internships or projects may also apply
- Interest or prior experience in EVs, mobility, energy, or technology ecosystems is an advantage, but not required
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Confident and proactive with cold outreach and new business engagement
- Organised and professional, with strong follow‑through and time management
- Able to craft clear, persuasive written proposals and emails, and learn quickly on the job
- Comfortable using CRM tools and juggling multiple prospects
- Self‑motivated, targets‑driven, and eager to grow within a dynamic startup environment
Structure & Commitment
- Full‑time role based in Singapore (hybrid)
- Base salary + performance‑based commission
