Business Development Manager – Bio Pharma Engineering / Construction
Location: Remote (Atlanta, GA Preferred)

We are actively seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager with proven experience in the Bio-Pharma and Life Sciences construction sector. Must-Haves:


  • Experience in Bio-Pharma, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech labs, or cGMP-compliant facility construction




  • Strong understanding of engineering, construction processes, and regulated facility requirements




  • Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and sales within the life sciences industry




  • Ability to build partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, CM firms, contractors, and engineering partners


  • About the Role:
    As the Business Development Manager, you will drive the company’s growth in the bio-pharma construction market. You will identify new opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and drive revenue by delivering tailored solutions for pharmaceutical plants, R&D labs, cleanrooms, and modular systems.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Business Development Strategy


  • Develop and execute a growth strategy tailored to bio-pharma and life-sciences construction markets




  • Identify opportunities based on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies




  • Collaborate with leadership to align business development efforts with company objectives


  • Client Relationship Management


  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the bio-pharma ecosystem




  • Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring alignment on project expectations, compliance, and technical requirements




  • Present proposals and value-driven solutions for regulated environments


  • Sales & Marketing


  • Lead sales efforts including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing major accounts




  • Partner with marketing to create campaigns targeting cGMP facilities, cleanrooms, and biotech labs




  • Represent the company at industry events such as ISPE, INTERPHEX, PDA, and other life-sciences conferences


  • Project Collaboration


  • Work closely with internal design, engineering, and construction teams to support project execution




  • Stay current on FDA, GMP, USP, EU Annex 1, and other regulatory frameworks affecting bio-pharma facilities




  • Provide input on facility layouts, process flows, environmental controls, and specialized construction requirements


  • Performance Tracking & Reporting


  • Define and monitor KPIs for business development success, including revenue targets and market penetration




  • Prepare progress reports for executive leadership




  • Continuously refine business development processes to improve efficiency and conversion rates
