Wood is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our Oceania Materials business which covers Mining and Chemicals markets, across all three business units (Consulting, Projects and Operations).  This is a key leadership role based in Brisbane, supporting the Oceania Growth and Development team in building client relationships and growing the business. This is a permanent full time basis role.

Wood is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our Oceania Materials business which covers Mining and Chemicals markets, across all three business units (Consulting, Projects and Operations). This is a key leadership role based in Brisbane, supporting the Oceania Growth and Development team in building client relationships and growing the business. This is a permanent full time basis role.

• University degree (bachelors or masters) in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Ideally you will have held a similar Business Development Manager role supported by 15+ years of relevant industry experience.  

In addition, you will:

• 15+ years of experience covering business management and development along with site-based experience. 
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of the QLD and PNG mining market and industry is required
