Business Development Manager - Security Services (Western Canada)
Schedule: Mon- Fri (9am – 5pm).
Job Location: Alberta, Western Canada (Remote with Travel)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our security guarding services across Western Canada . This quota-carrying role requires a professional adept at navigating RFP processes, cultivating and managing client relationships , and maintaining an active pipeline of short- and long-term clients.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the security services sector or relevant experience in security operations, client service, or contract management. This role will report to both the Director of Business Development with a dotted line to the VP Western Canada Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion : Identify and pursue new business opportunities to promote West Egg Security’s services in Western Canada.
- Client Engagement : Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their security needs and providing tailored solutions.
- RFP Management : Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, RFP responses, and sales presentations.
- Pipeline Management : Maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets and growth objectives.
- Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including operations and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Market Analysis : Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in business development , preferably within the security services industry.
- We will also consider previous experience in security operations as a Site Supervisor or Client Service Manager with strong client-facing and contract management responsibilities .
Skills: Proven expertise in RFP processes, contract negotiations, and client relationship management.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
Self-motivation: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales quotas.
Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
