Responsibilities

• Coordinate all business development activities between the company's Asia-Pacific Regional Headquarters (APRHQ) and subsidiaries/branch offices in the APAC regions.
• Collaborate closely with subsidiaries to seek new business development opportunities in Singapore and other regional markets.
• Develop and cultivate a business development infrastructure (e.g., cost consultant/design consultant network) to enhance the platform.
• Develop and implement marketing and growth strategies and plans.
• Increase the client base by proactively sourcing, arranging meetings and developing new relationships.
• Manage and build positive relationships with existing clients.
• Perform market research and analysis, identifying and evaluating the company’s strengths, customer needs, and viable revenue streams, and reporting on successes and areas for improvement.
• Take a lead role in developing proposals and presentations for new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Maintain and share professional knowledge by attending industry events and conferences, establishing personal networks, and participating in presentations.
• Develop and deliver insightful strategies and impactful presentations to the Business Development Department and external stakeholders.
• Produce reports to provide updates and progress on new business development activities and other key indicators to the management.
• Collaborate with the tender team to manage the proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements and content creation.
• Ensure all practices and business dealings are carried out professionally and ethically to maintain the company's reputation.
• Train subordinates and team members.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing business development strategies.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes and value propositions.
