Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager who has previously sold solutions into medical practices, GP clinics, specialist centres, allied health, or healthcare groups . The ideal candidate brings strong industry relationships, understands practice workflows, and can confidently engage with Practice Managers, Directors, and Clinical Owners.
You will lead outbound sales, build partnerships, manage demos, and convert practices onto the PracShield platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting medical practices and healthcare organisations
- Generate and qualify leads through outreach, networking, conferences, and industry channels
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to practice owners and management teams
- Build and maintain relationships with Practice Managers, GP groups, PHNs, and medical networks
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to onboarding
- Identify partnership opportunities with MSPs, medical software companies, and healthcare suppliers
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Provide feedback to product and leadership teams to support continuous improvement
- Represent PracShield at industry events and conferences
Required Experience
- 3+ years of sales experience in the medical/healthcare sector
- Proven track record selling to GP clinics, specialist practices, hospitals, allied-health providers, or medical groups
- Experience with SaaS, healthtech, practice management tools, or compliance solutions is highly desirable
- Strong network of healthcare decision-makers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
