As a Business Development Manager for Civil Infrastructure and Data Centre Projects for India,  you will be responsible for acquiring high-quality formwork projects and managing them successfully in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. Your extensive business development experience, strong customer network, and willingness to travel will be key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To focus on the acquisition of large-scale Civil Infrastructure and Data Centre projects across India.
  • To support technical drawings and designs during offer stage, if applicable.
  • To develop both new and existing accounts and expand business through face-to-face contact and regular job site visits with customers as well as cold calling.
  • To acquire and qualify information very early during the planning stage of the relevant projects across India.
  • To map out business opportunities and acquire civil infrastructure and data centre projects with particular focus on profitability, long term market penetration and overall coverage.
  • To identify market drivers and strategies as well as to develop and steer sales approaches.
  • To coordinate and effectively communicate with all relevant stakeholders within the organization, especially with global expertise center and country sales and engineering network and resources.
  • To be proactively involved and accountable from tendering through project acquisition and entire project handling, depending on the complexity and scale of the project as well as per assigned by your immediate superior.
  • Any other official duties as may be assigned by the Management.
  • Qualifications

    Key Attributes and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5–10 years’ experience in BD/Sales within construction or engineered solutions
  • Exposure to Civil Infrastructure and/or Data Centre projects
  • Strong key account and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially driven with sound technical understanding
  • Willingness to travel across India
  • Self-motivated, strategic, and results-oriented
