We are seeking candidates with a strong track record in new client acquisition for direct IT projects in India, the US, Europe and across the World. Experience limited to BPO or non-IT sales will not be considered. Job Overview: We are hiring a Business Development Manager IT Projects with 58 years of IT industry experience to drive new client acquisition, manage key accounts, and lead sales for IT projects. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of enterprise IT solutions and achievement of revenue targets. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager for IT Projects in Bengaluru. The role focuses on new business acquisition, client relationship management, and revenue growth. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Identify, prospect, and acquire new direct clients for IT projects across India, the US, Europe and the World. Drive end-to-end business development activities, including lead generation, client meetings, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure. Understand client business needs and translate them into project-based IT solutions in collaboration with pre-sales and technical teams. Should be able to prepare a road map or sales strategy to create leads/prospects leading to new client acquisition mainly for QA (functional/Performance Tests/Security testing etc., for web/mobile apps, Dev, and Data science /API projects. Manage the complete sales lifecycle for IT projects, including RFPs, RFQs, SOWs, and contract negotiations. Drive high-value conversations with CXOs, Delivery Heads, and HR leaders to position STIPL as a trusted IT Projects partner. Strong rate card and contract negotiation skills, comfort with legal and compliance basics. Proven wins with enterprise or MSP and VMS environments, familiar with Zoho Recruit / Zoho CRM or similar. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with enterprise clients and key decision-makers. Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets, pipeline goals, and client acquisition metrics. Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover and successful execution post-sales. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities. Represent the company in client presentations, industry events, and networking forums. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM updates, and management reports. Key Technical Skills BDM (IT Projects) Strong understanding of IT services & project delivery models (fixed price, T&M, resource augmentation) Knowledge of SDLC, enterprise IT solutions, and digital transformation Familiarity with cloud, web/mobile apps, analytics, ERP/CRM systems Experience with SOWs, RFPs/RFQs, proposals, and contract negotiations Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) Ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions and engage with enterprise clients Work Hours and Travel: India business hours, travel within Bengaluru and occasional travel to client sites. Education: Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred. Notice: Immediate 30 days
