Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mandarin-speaking Business Development Manager to join our Corporate Asia Desk sales team in Sydney. This is a high-impact role focused on generating new business within the FX risk management and international payments space.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will play a key part in expanding Corpay’s presence in the Australian corporate market. You’ll identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth by converting prospects into long-term clients.
You will receive comprehensive onboarding, ongoing sales and product training, and mentorship in a collaborative, high-performance environment, with clear pathways for career progression both locally and globally.
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly sales targets by prospecting, qualifying, progressing, and closing corporate accounts with FX risk management needs
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects to perform needs analysis and solution discovery
- Proactively generate new business through internal leads, cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Leverage your industry network to identify referral opportunities and increase market awareness of Corpay
- Present Corpay’s FX and cross-border payment solutions to corporate clients across Australia
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Directors and C-level executives
- Stay informed on financial markets and economic developments
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects using calls, market updates, and marketing materials
Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in corporate sales (FX risk management, international payments, or banking experience preferred)
- Proven ability to self-generate and convert a strong sales pipeline
- Confidence conducting cold calling and engaging senior decision-makers
- Understanding of financial markets and FX risk management (training provided)
- Exceptional communication skills in Mandarin and English (written and verbal)
- Professional, resilient, tenacious, and results-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently from the field, home, or Sydney office
