Latitude Industrial Supplies is a trusted provider of quality industrial equipment and supplies, catering the mining, construction, manufacturing, and engineering industries. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive sales, expand our client base, and strengthen our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify, target, and develop new customer accounts in key industries such as mining, construction, and industrial sectors.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
- Sales Growth & Strategy: Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business growth objectives.
- Market Research & Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for competitive advantage.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with internal teams (operations, procurement, and customer service) to ensure seamless execution of contracts and orders.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) in business development, sales, or account management , preferably in the industrial, mining, or construction sectors.
- Strong ability to develop new business opportunities and close sales.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Knowledge of industrial products, safety supplies, and heavy equipment (preferred but not essential).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
