Business Development Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in securing funding and diversifying revenue streams. The Manager will work closely with Programs teams, maintaining knowledge of HIAS’ signature approaches (legal support, economic inclusion, mental health and advocacy) to identify new funding opportunities and develop high quality concept notes, proposals and reports for a range of public and private institutional donors. They will collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Technical Leads, MEAL, Individual Giving and other colleagues to maintain and improve internal processes for grant management.

The Business Development Manager will be a frontline fundraiser, meeting with private institutional donors including foundations, corporations, Jewish organizations and government agencies. They will utilize donor trends, landscape analyses, and data to inform their work and contribute to the organization’s annual fundraising goals.
