Job Description: Business Development Manager (Remote) - South India (Airports, QSR's & Cinema Halls)

About the Role

We're hiring a Business Development Manager to drive South India sales for TKJ's Ice Tea, with a focus on airport retail partners and cinema hall chains. This is a remote role, with preference for candidates based in Hyderabad or Bengaluru.

Location
  • Remote (India)
  • Preferred: Hyderabad or Bengaluru 
  • Travel: As needed across South India for meetings, onboarding, and partner visits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and grow sales across South India for:
  • Airport retail (store operators, food & beverage concessionaires, distributors serving airports)
  • Cinema halls (chains, regional operators, F&B teams)
  • Identify and onboard new partners; build a strong pipeline and close deals end-to-end
  • Pitch product, negotiate commercials, and finalize onboarding documentation
  • Manage key accounts; ensure repeat orders, visibility, and expansion across locations/screens
  • Coordinate with internal teams on:
  • Stock planning and dispatch schedules
  • POSM/branding requirements
  • New launches and promotions
  • Track weekly sales activity and report on pipeline, closures, and forecasts
  • Collect market feedback (pricing, competitor activity, consumer insights) and share recommendations

What We're Looking For
  • 2–6 years experience in B2B sales / business development, preferably in:
  • FMCG / beverages / food service
  • Modern trade, travel retail, institutional sales, or cinema/entertainment sales
  • Strong network or ability to build relationships with purchase heads / category managers / F&B teams
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, follow-ups, and closing
  • Self-driven; able to work independently in a remote setup
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel across South India

Nice to Have
  • Prior experience selling into airports, QSR/food courts, cinema chains, or travel retail
  • Experience working with distributors and managing secondary sales
Compensation
  • Base salary: ₹35,000 per month 
  • Incentives: Performance-based (linked to closures and recurring sales) 
  • Allowances: Provided (details shared during interview)
How Success Will Be Measured
  • New partner sign-ups (airports/cinema halls) 
  • Monthly/quarterly sales volume and repeat orders 
  • Expansion across locations/screens within signed accounts 
  • Pipeline health and conversion rate
