Role Overview Summary/Objective: The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving sales efforts with a focus on improving productivity, promoting industry best practices, and driving qualified opportunities to drive the ambitious growth goals of the company. Focus areas include sales development execution and sales productivity. Essential Functions: Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, proactive outreach and other channels and strategies as needed Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest in evaluating a partnership with NorthStar Understand target partner needs and requirements Engage externally with prospective clients to qualify leads, establish NDAs, and exchange data Partner closely with externally facing BD Director and other executives to effectively manage new growth opportunities to closure.
