Work Setup: Remote
Contract: Seasonal (6 Months)
Schedule: 8am - 5pm EST (8pm - 5am Manila), M-F
Equipment: BYOD (Bring your own device)
The Business Development Representative III is responsible for responding, identifying, and pursuing new business opportunities or leads while building and nurturing potential client relationships and contributing to the growth of the organization.
What does a day in the life of a Business Development Representative look like?
- Responds promptly and professionally to all new business opportunities inquiries via phone, email, or chat
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities within targeted markets and industries
- Generate high-quality leads through various channels, including cold calling, email, social media and other networking events and platforms
- Evaluate leads and opportunities to determine their fit with the organization’s target client and ensure they meet minimum criteria
- Initiate and maintain meaningful conversations with potential clients to understand their needs, challenges and objectives
- Conduct in-depth research to create a solid understanding of the organization’s products/services and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients
- Assist with preparing and conducting presentations and demonstrations to potential clients on products/services that can provide solutions to the client’s needs and challenges
- Foster a collaborative environment with clients showcasing partnership, communication and engaging conversations on a frequent basis
- Accurately track and manage sales activities, leads and opportunities in CRM software
- Adheres to company policies and procedures
- Meets or exceeds performance targets for related KPI’s
- Continuously improves knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules
- Collaborates with other departments as needed
- Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times
- Performs other duties as assigned
What are the required qualifications for a Business Development Representative?
- 3+ years of experience in a sales or business development representative, preferably in a call center
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computers and various software applications
