Job Description

The chosen candidate for this role will expand Open Door's presence in South India: Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Kerala. The candidate will be solely responsible for all stages of sales: from contacting a school decision maker to fixing a meeting to negotiating and closing the deal with the school.

Requirements

  • Should want to make a change to the school system
  • Good at convincing, great communication
  • Open to travel (on an average 3 days/week outside base city)

The day to day tasks will include –

  • Researching best schools and decision makers in the given geographical area
  • Calling/Emailing the decision maker to fix a meeting
  • Making cold visits to fix a meeting
  • Present Open Door's work to school's director, principal and teachers
  • Follow up and negotiate to close the deal
  • Maintaining work in Open Door's database/CRM
